Dear Colleague,

It is my pleasure to inform you that in our commitment to “Continuing the Vision” of Dr. Merrill P. Spencer, a pioneer in the field of vascular ultrasound, we have positioned our Lead Sonographer, B. Tonia Maddock, BS RVT RDMS a resident of North Seattle, as a permanent full-time Clinical Director in the McMurray Medical Building – located on the Northwest Hospital campus.  Tonia has been with Spencer Vascular for 10 years working past five years as Clinical Manager overlooking the daily operations in our downtown Seattle laboratory location on the Swedish Hospital campus.

Under the tutelage of Dr. Spencer, Tonia has worked closely with him and has  become a highly skilled sonographer in the full spectrum of vascular ultrasound.  During her tenure at our labs on the Swedish Hospital Campus, Tonia has served in a growing capacity as our Clinical Instructor for student interns from Seattle University and Bellevue Community College, worked with the Seattle Cardiovascular Research Group, and finally as Clinical Director overseeing daily operations at our downtown Seattle location.  Before joining Spencer Vascular, Tonia worked as a General Sonographer at Stevens Memorial Hospital and Washington Imaging, and as an Applications Specialist for Siemens Medical Systems - Ultrasound Group and Medison Ultrasound companies.  Tonia has also served as a board member and Chapter Representative of NWVT (Northwest Vascular Technologists) in 1998 and 1999.

Our hours of operation remain Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  Our knowledgeable staff will take your appointment request at 206-838-8390.
