She received her AS degree in ultrasound from Bellevue Community College in 1988. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Oregon. She was a vascular sonographer at Eastside Vascular from 1996 to 1998. She has been a vascular sonographer at Spencer Vascular since August, 1998. She is also a clinical instructor for Seattle University students training at Spencer Vascular. Meryl Harley, BS, AA, RVT  Registered Vascular Technologist     Meryl graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography and Environmental Sciences and a minor in Biology. She received her AA degree in ultrasound from Bellevue Community College in September 2002.  She did her vascular ultrasound internships at Spencer Vascular and University of Washington Vascular labs.  She has been a vascular sonographer at Spencer Vascular since September 2002.  Meryl works closely with all TCD related research projects and participates in all TCD related CME activities and conferences. Josh Renz, BS, RVT Registered Vascular Technologist     Josh graduated from the UW with a degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology and a minor in Medical History and Ethics.  He took ultrasound classes at Seattle University.  He did his clinical internship at Spencer Vascular.  He has been working at Spencer Vascular since 2001.  Josh works closely with all TCD related research projects and participates in all TCD related CME activities and conferences.  He works to continually improve TCD tests related to PFO testing and has been accepted to present a poster on an idea he came up with (secondary shunt testing) at the Stroke conference in February, 2007. Krislynn Barnhart, BS, RVT Registered Vascular Technologist     Krislynn earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound from Seattle University in June 2006.  She completed a six month clinical internship rotation in vascular ultrasound from June 2005-December 2005 with Spencer Vascular at Swedish Medical Center, First Hill and Providence campus locations.  She continued her clinical internship rotation at the University of Washington in the UW Vascular Laboratory Services Department with focus on inpatient services and examinations, from January 2006 to March 2006.  For her last quarter of internship from late March 2006-June 2006, she returned to Spencer Vascular at Swedish Medical Center to receive specialized training in transcranial Doppler and cerebrovascular  examinations.  She has been employed at Spencer Vascular since June 2006. Chinh Tran, BS, RVT Registered Vascular Technologist    Chinh earned a Bachelor's in Science in Diagnostic Ultrasound from Seattle University in Sept 2008. Her vascular rotation was at Spencer Vascular from March 2008 to September 2008. She started working at Spencer Vascular on October 2, 2008. Natalie Chapel, BS, RVT Registered Vascular Technologist    Natalie earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Vascular Technology from the Oregon Institute of Technology in June 2009. She completed a year long clinical internship with Spencer Vascular from July 2008 to June 2009. Natalie stated working for Spencer Vascular in June 2009. Peter Phan, BS, RVT Registered Vascular Technologist    Peter earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Vascular Technology from the Oregon Institute of Technology in June 2010. He completed a year long clinical internship with Spencer Vascular from July 2009 to June 2010. Peter started working for Spencer Vascular in May 2011. Swedish Medical Center Front Office Staff Jenifer Arends Financial Manager    Jenifer has been with Spencer Vascular since 2003. She is the silent leader of Spencer Vascular and works hard behind the scenes to ensure the company is doing everything correctly. Jaymie Alfonzo Office Manager    Jaymie has been with Spencer Vascular since October 2003. She started out as the Billing Assistant and has climbed her way to Lead Billing Clerk. Jaymie now is office manager of Spencer Vascular's Front Office. Her excellent costumer service skills and ability to multi-task keeps the front office and the billing running smoothly. Stephanie Bozarth Front Office Coordinator- Jefferson    Stephanie came to us as a graduate of Everest College early in 2008. After completing her externship she joined us full time in the billing office. Stephanie now runs our busy front office at the Jefferson location and is one of the friendly voices you hear when calling to make your appointment. Jasmine Alfonzo Front Office Coordinator - Nordstrom    Jasmine started at Spencer Vascular as a part time employee during summer and winter vacations while she finished High School. Jasmine's ability to put a smile on patient's faces when they come in creates a comfortable and relaxing visit to Spencer Vascular. Jasmine is now the full time Front Office Coordinator at our Nordstrom Tower office. Our hours of operation for outpatient services are 8:30am to 5pm, Monday-Friday (except Holidays).
